Hello !
Five years spent together in the same school was the base of a real friendship. The three of us were animated by the project of travelling after graduation. We had South America’s maps in mind. We decided to follow some of their roads with handicraft as a guide line.
We discovered with enthusiasm that Amaury and Chloé before us, had been driven by the same curiosity. We decided to take back Holy Patte with our own experiences. And here we go ! With our taste for details, raw materials and drawings!
Ariane, with her Brazilian passport had already started her story with Brazil, our number one country step. Taking of for a first Paulista experience two years ago, she is now going into her familial culture in depth. With the ties she forged in Sao Paulo and her knowledge of Portuguese, she is a precious guide for our Brazilian introduction.
Claire lightens us from having a GPS. She is, with no doubts, our sens of direction. She has a real fascination at studying maps. With her good stroke of a pen, she catches easily different kinds of atmospheres.
Inès, sometimes stumbles because of being distracted by her environment . She always shares with us observations dealing with details not easily noticeable in nature. Playing with words, it is with pleasure that she relates our adventures in Holy Patte.
Salut !
Hello!
With the end of 2014 came for us graduation and the time to look for a first real job, which just felt … wrong. At 24 we are filled with a great urge to see what’s out there and so we decided to book our plane tickets and go for it, South America, for 4 months. From San José to Santiago we will be looking for the beautiful, the weird and the funny in this world. Not that we can’t find that everywhere, but it’s always more exciting with a Spanish accent and no particular place to be!
Both very attracted to handicrafts and fascinated by pretty much anyone who works with his hands, we will be looking for that all the way. Chloé being pretty inclined to nostalgia, we will try as much as possible to go meet those people and ask them about their “savoir-faire”and philosophy of life. Going back to the basics, the pure contact between humans and raw materials and what it does to you sounds pretty exciting to us!
Amaury (the boy, in charge of: fire, carrying things, orientation, driving engines) has just graduated in Interior Architecture and Design – Will be shooting all those beauties
Chloé (the girl, in charge of: Spanish, having the right cream for the right problem, losing us both into the wild) has a master’s degree in Marketing – Will be putting all these adventures into words
Let the adventure begin!
